We commenced re-landscaping many of our more than 100 retirement accommodation and residential aged care sites throughout Adelaide early in 2005. The project will continue over a number of years. From the outset, Garden Studio has assisted us in this process with designs that lift the appearance of our communities and provide savings on water use and ongoing grounds maintenance. We have found Garden Studio to be receptive to our ideas and responsive to providing solutions that meet our needs. We recommend them on the basis of their work to date for ECH Inc.

Garden Studio has designed a garden for our beautiful new showroom on Sir Donald Bradman Drive. We are very happy with the result. The garden has a welcoming effect on arriving, both with the use of colour and the way it complements the building.

Garden Studio’s senior operative, Scott Murison, brings a number of talents to his work. In terms of customer focus he works to understand the client’s wishes and collaborates to actually build on their original concept. He is extremely gifted on the technical side understanding and constructing quality outcomes in terms of his use of materials and yet at the same time having a wonderful sense of plants and horticulture to achieve lovely gardens.

I would think as a garden designer and creator his dual talent of being both a landscaper and horticulturalist is rare. Scott is very polite and responsible and I was very, very pleased with what he produced for me.

A planting plan was sought from Scott Murison, Garden Studio, which was accepted. All work has been carried out to the highest standard. Scott proved to be flexible and knowledgeable and created a garden “just for me”. He undertook all aspects of the landscaping process and has been engaged for ongoing care and maintenance. Scott has always been more than happy to undertake any other general gardening tasks. I am more than happy to recommend him for complete garden attention. My garden is new but already looks amazing.

I engaged Scott Murison of Garden Studio to design and install a rear garden complete with irrigation. We have a large golden elm which has in the past proved difficult to grow an under-story beneath. Scott gave us invaluable planting advice and he has maintained the garden since. We are delighted with the lush transformation.

At the end of our building program we were left with an irregular, uneven “bomb-site” of waste, compacted soil and remnants. Having met Scott over coffee, he agreed to contemplate and conceptualise a solution to our space. The discussions drew out our particular interests which Scott creatively integrated into the garden design.

Scott worked reliably, skilfully and courteously as he transformed our bomb-site into a lush, waterwise, sensory environment which in addition addresses the sight and sound pollution issues that can arise on a quarter acre block.

We can’t recommend Scott highly enough. We are enamoured with the garden we now have. We look forward with joyous anticipation to the garden it will become.
